Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 81.4/100, a mean average of 80.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.3.

Well there's some great stuff here. Good job
This is the least controversial chart I've ever seen. I have to give you something for A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and A City Dressed In Dynamite, but most of your chart is between 5000 and 50000 in terms of ranking. It made it kinda... boring to read. Sorry.
I like seeing The National so high... Shows how many different opinions there are on this site - just look at your comments.
Great chart!
Good list :)
Not a fan of the National but I love the amount of Radiohead and ITAOTS is certainly #1 material.
I know 95% of the albums and I love them, so why I'll discover right now the others!
Closer, Aemina, RainDogs, Bullhead, Strageways..., Let Love In...more than enough to make up for all that Radiohead and the National *shudders*
Pretty much what Hayden said, a lot of good music mixed in with enough mediocre to have a noticeable impact on the overall quality.
You've mixed some of my favourite albums, with some of my least favourite albums, so it pains me to rate this, but overall it has a nice feel.
