Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Although not a fan of many of the genres found here, I am impressed by this chart’s diversity and agree very much with the comments by ‘TracyJacks’, ‘junodog4’, ‘Morden’, ‘kingdomhearts678’ (whose description I find something of a complement), ‘steve_o_619’ and ‘btener11’.

I agree with the love-hate thing going on here. Your top 3 albums for example are all amazing, but some of your choices also just baffle me!
Still, a lot more good than bad here.

Your chart makes me go from love to hate back to love again in a matter of seconds. Overall, I have to give your chart more love than hate. Partly because of your high rankings of The Queen Is Dead and Loveless; partly because I have to be one of the only people who supports your inclusion of Korn's watershed s/t debut. Kudos.
