Such an emotional and beautiful album. Every song is a waterfall of emotions dropped out of nick drake's soul. It's a ride (a free ride) along our emotions, at least for me, carrying me throughout my deepest feelings. [First added to this chart: 09/21/2015]

Fittier Happiers ruins the album. Is that track bad? No. Simply it's a track that doesn't fits with the rest of songs. [First added to this chart: 05/28/2015]

I may be seen as a moron for saying this, but I consider this album a modern Pink Moon. Sufjan shows us the happenings of his childhood with his mother and the things that happened because of her leaving. The album touchs my hearth, Sufjan's voice gets so emotional and deep making of this album a modern masterpiece. [First added to this chart: 08/01/2015]

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 9% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 88.1/100, a mean average of 87.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.5/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.4.

Sweet list! I've actually heard a ton of these, definitely approve! Another Green World by Eno is sooo good! I need to listen to Kraftwerk more regularly.

I almost completely agree with you on The Queen Is Dead. It seems that Morrissey and Marr were basically allways meant to be with each other.

At one point it gets really too indie, sorry... And Marr was a nice guitar player, but not that good? Or am I wrong? Certainly nothing wrong with opinions. Descriptions are (y)
