Well now, Gord Downie is my literal homeboy and these guys' music captures my hardcore Canadian soul, or in fact, gave me permission to love being Canadian. Which I fuckin well do -- now more than ever! And they really might be my favourite, ffs.

Have had so much pleasure from so many scores of their songs. This double blast of Peppery goodness seals it. they have made five absolute classic albums by my count. Anthony Kiedis has grown up as a songwriter and I so vibe with him.
