Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

I feel like we'd get along amazingly! You have a perfect mix of universally loved records, records that are really good but fairly less known (way to rep broken social scene) and records that people don't talk about that much. Way to go Le Monke

Nice list of a lot of modern and a bit of old school alternative music. Always sad to see Kanye West on any list from my point of view but you have good taste regardless haha.

Too much artist repetition (although I love Radiohead and Weezer) and not nearly enough pre-90s material. However this chart has many great albums from great bands, and it seems honest and I respect that. Just keep digging.

Some really nice picks, though I have to agree with LedZep; looking at your ratings it looks like there's lots of pre-90s stuff you're missing out on!

Love the number one, some fantastic albums from 90s onwards. Death Grips and Mac DeMarco are especially nice. I just think you lack some older albums, for the balance and diversity
