My 'Fav' is the track I enjoyed most in the context of the album. That does NOT mean it's the best track of the album.
The 'Setting' category is where and when I heard the album for the first time. This could give you a little bit of context about my picks.
I sure hope I could fit more albums in here. I tried to include some more internationaly-unknown Israeli artist for BEA to listen to. I think you’ll enjoy them if you have the same taste as mine. Enjoy!

Setting: April 2017, My dad just bought us both tickets for the (controversial) Radiohead concert in Israel. I didn't know much about the band, only Creep, Karma Police and maybe another song or two. Decided to download OK Computer to my phone before going on a trip to Tanzania with my family. One afternoon after a safari trip we all went back to our tent 'domes' for a siesta. Thought 'why not', put on my headphones and pressed play. Was absolutely immersed in the experience; started pacing around the room while listening and just thinking about things, reading lyrics on my phone and trying to make meaning of them. I was experiencing so many emotions and I remember being speechless and amazed for most of the album. Was lying on the floor as soon as Karma Police ended and Fitter Happier started. Went back up, then went back down for Lucky and The Tourist. Heard the album countless times after that. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]
Setting: I have so many memories of listening to this album with my father and brother while going on trips in our jeep. I especially remember hearing 'A Day In the Life' while driving through a desert canyon in the rural Israeli desert. A surreal experience. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]
Setting: Driving back home at night after a long weekend out of town. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]

Setting: Probably while studying or riding on my bike to school. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]
Setting: I heard Two Weeks many times before and it was a favorite of mine, but I didn’t really care to listen to the album. I eventually did listen to the album, and I loved it from the first riff of Southern Point. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]
Setting: Sitting in my schools library, working on an English project. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]
Setting: On a plane to somewhere. Didn’t feel like it. Heard it on the flight back - loved it. Went to their concert in Amsterdam the next year. [First added to this chart: 05/23/2019]

Top 100 Greatest Music Albums ratings
av = trimmed mean average rating an item has currently received.
n = number of ratings an item has currently received.
m = minimum number of ratings required for an item to appear in a 'top-rated' chart (currently 10).
AV = the site mean average rating.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 6% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 88.4/100, a mean average of 89.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.6/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 5.3.

great choices and taste
Really great chart.
Great 100 albums chart, loving the added Fav track comment, I might steal that idea, if you don't mind ;-)
Loads of lovely albums here and the 'Fav' tracks are a nice touch. Well done!
Every now and then I see a pick that seems really interesting and personal but otherwise it stays pretty close to the overall chart. There's nothing too wrong with that, those picks are popular for a good reason, but when there's no notes to back that up it's a bit difficult to not see parts of the chart as a band wagon.
Don't get me wrong, what you still chose to pick I think shows personality, especially appreciate the national picks! A few notes and some love for the 80's would be great! There's much more from the 80's than its top 5 overall ranked records ;)
The classics... and more!!
