What an odd year for music. It was definitely good but it was so far removed from my expectations of what I thought I would be listening to this year. I had no idea I'd be listening to Taylor Swift all the time or that Sufjan would drop a great album. Not to mention how many of my favorite albums are from artists I wasn't familiar with before this year. Lots of surprises and lots of great records.

An album full of vocal arrangements from one of the greatest anime of all time, featuring classics like a cruel angels thesis, Komm Susser Tod, Fly Me To The Moon, and Thanatos. (would be higher but it's a soundtrack so this is the best it can do in my year chart)
