81.583* Solo album from Foo Fighters drummer. This surprised me greatly. It's really good. Great homage to the 70's as it's got the sound of rock era 'The Sweet' but with the vocals and harmonies similar in places to their glam era days. Add to that a small hint of QOTSA. Did not expect it to be how it is. Very happy. Exceeded all expectations. I like it better than any Foo's album I've heard. 09/25 [First added to this chart: 11/22/2024]

78.090* Really good Metal is hard to find these days. Not that often I seem to come across it. Very happy with this. This is definitely the best I've heard from them. Decent pure Metal. You can hear the channeling of Metallica throughout. Proof they deserve their headline status at Metal Festivals. 08/25 [First added to this chart: 05/17/2025]

Corey Taylor's other band. I'm preferring them over Slipknot as he utilizes his vocals much more as an instrument. Stone Sour have been a slow burner for me though. This from them will no doubt be the same 08/24 [First added to this chart: 08/03/2024]

When a frontman does solo projects you know it's going to be different and sometimes that's good. Do not expect an incantation of SOAD. There are some nice orchestral arrangements on a few songs but unfortunately the vocals just don't go well with them. (He's no Nick Cave). He done good with 'Elect the Dead' but the turn he's taken with this has just not worked. Mediocre at best. This would rank at the bottom of all albums he's been part of. The worst of all albums he's made. Sorry Serj. 02/22 [First added to this chart: 03/11/2021]

Strange one this. These guys are labelled as a rock band but under the genres Reggae, Alternative/Indie. So for me that sounded fascinating enough to be worthy of checking out. When discovering new bands and music, you know if it works for you or if it doesn't. My initial thoughts were 'This ain't doing it for me'. But I do have great respect for new and original sounding bands, and they do have a unique sound and style. They sound like a bunch of white boys trying to capture a laid back Caribbean party vibe with the variety of instruments they use. It's all so conflicting. It does nothing for me at the moment but may be a slow burner. 12/24 [First added to this chart: 12/10/2024]
