This weird looking cover of a UK release on PYE Records was alien to me. Piked it up purely for the cover - a woman rubbing herself with what appears to be melted butter. Like what? Turns out it's their second album of early electronic band known for their hit Popcorn. Damn right, it's a keeper!

Original Vertigo copies go for 4k+. Found a very good bootleg in copy for 3 euros in Leipzig. 3 euro vs £4k? Same music? I'll take a bootleg in a heartbeat! Excellent guitar-less prog band.

East German heavy prog in style of Uriah Heep and Slade. Did a fair amount of research prior to visiting Berlin in September, turns out Amiga records are super cheap and everywhere. Don't mind if I do!

Their records are generally hard to find cheap. This late 70s reissue was not cheap, but affordable enough to buy. Big love for May Blitz.

Didi Zill was a photographer for Bravo magazine and worked very closely with Deep Purple throughout the 70s and 80s. He came up with one LP in 1977, kinda schlagrock.
