I seen you and JMan talking in the 'Rate My Chart' thread and went to check out his chart,came on here thinking it was his and was completely shocked how good it was,then I copped it wasn't his due to the lack of Alice Cooper and Meatloaf.So this 100 is for the minute or so when I though JMan's chart was great,consider yourself JMan 2.0 from now on.

I do want to know why you have put Keep It Like a Secret above Perfect From Now On? I love them both, but Perfect From Now On is, in my opinion, just more special and more extraordinary. It's got a similar level of quality songwriting, but there's something that gives it a slight edge. The songs are just constructed so intelligently, and so uniquely, that it's unlike any indie rock album I've heard- it verges more into prog. It's just, having heard them both- a lot- I couldn't imagine preferring Keep It Like a Secret, it's similar, but not quite the same. I don't know, it's hard to describe. I would very much like to know what you're opinions are on the matter, and on what differences you can see between the two.

Anyway, glad to see the love for BtS, and a lot of albums I also love as well, so you're definitely doing that right!

Haha, I like criticism. Well, let me first say where I was coming from when I made the chart. I had noticed over my almost year long stay at BEA, that there had been maybe a dozen cases where a relatively new user would ask for "must listens" for Punk, then be bombarded with "the classics", and go "Sweet, I've never even heard of most of these". After noticing this occur a bunch of times, I started compiling them in a list, with my own "underground" favorites, which is when I stumbled onto Purple's(His old account) Punk chart, which like mine, followed a looser jurisdiction of genre labels, which inspired me to do similarly(but kinda different). I worked on the chart for a couple months, and what I came out with was a chart that I believed to be the best of both worlds, where a novice could come and find the all time best(imo) "Punk" records(A genre which most newcomers make much larger than it actually is) and also where a most reasoned listener could find more under the radar stuff. I've edited a bit since, but I try to keep the spirit there, and over time I think I've added more unknown stuff, and also added a bunch to the site, so I think that's the direction it's more headed towards.

Also I went through your chart again, and realized that haven't heard a great deal, hence me deleting me rating, since I can't really rate what I haven't heard. Gonna go bookmark some shit now, thanks!
