"I'm not a huge fan of rap. I'm a rock, blues, and metal guy, but this album has something about it that just pulled me in. It also helps that I've seen Snoop Dogg live. But seriously, this album is a classic from front to back."  Reply

"I feel like it's a great album for people who want a reflective album about misery but do not want to feel the same way in their own lives. Once you can accept the sadness in the world, then you can truly be happy. This album allows that to happen."  Reply

"HEROIN CHIC Kendra Smith hurled her guitar to the stage. She had had it. The constant, tedious grind of touring. Being worshipped by strangers. All of it. It was too much. She didn’t want it anymore. “Fuck this mousetrap”, she mumbled to herself. ”I’m going to live off the grid.” And you know wha..."  [+]  Reply

"Albini & PJ Harvey are like the indie rock dream team. I LOVE the production on this album. PJ Harvey had actually been touring with the Jesus Lizard (Albini was their producer at the time) in support of Dry the year prior so I remember not being too surprised at her decision to go all "Man-Size"..."  [+]  Reply

"Outside of OK Computer, I don't know if there was ever a more necessary album for the well-being of a band. Blur was a thread away from being dead and buried for good, especially after a brutal trip to the US where our love for grunge was blinding us in 1992 and 1993 (I myself would not hear of B..."  [+]  Reply

"Though it's not Violator by any means, it's a damn good album with great songs! Very interesting how the Mode branched out to natural instruments and took influences from other genres"  Reply

"Can anyone say 'underrated?' No, no, I get it; critics were not a huge fan of it when it first came out, labeling Radiohead a 'one-hit wonder' for the megahit "Creep," but is that even the best song on the album? I do not think there is really a bad song on this album. No, it is not my favourite ..."  [+]  Reply

"I still have the original tape! It plays great and sounds superb through my recently acquired Denon tape deck, Rega amp and B & W speakers, a damn site better than it ever sounded in my tinny car stereo some years ago. It is like listening to a new album through decent audio kit and has re-awaken..."  [+]  Reply
