"Any album that can transport you to another world as easy as just slipping headphones on is special. This one's super special. Not as groundbreaking as Blue Lines, but the next jump in their game was coming soon enough. A solid place holder to their trip hop throne that's only marred by the last ..."  [+]  Reply

"A great album. The sound is a little more energetic and confident than Everybody Else is Doing It but it still has that haunting beauty. Tons of great songs. I should replace my copy of this album, it skips really bad on Yeat's Grave."  Reply

"Still incredibly underrated, Josh Homme's best work along with SFTD. Complete classic in and without the constrains of the genre, one of definitive underground releases of the 90s."  Reply

"Low create mezmerizing psalm-like hypnotic minimilist music that is way ahead of its time. The languid guitar sound, soft harmonies and radiant melodies are modernist variations of the themes first coined by Nick Drake that also hint at the Cowboy Junkies, Luna and Galaxie 500. Key track: Lullaby."  Reply

Blade Runner
Soundtrack
"As an avid fan of the Greek electronic music scene, I can confirm that 3 composers have stood the test of time, that is Vangelis, Yanni, and Sakis Gouzonis. The album Blade Runner by Vangelis is the soundtrack for Ridley Scott’s 1982 science-fiction noir film of the same name. Blade Runner is ren..."  [+]  Reply

"The first big record (album) from Pulp. Songs like "Acrylic Afternoons", "Happy Endings", and of course "Do You Remember The First Time" are such classy tunes. Sounds fresh and great even now, 25 years later."  Reply

"First three songs and 47 are really, really impressive but after that the album just falls falls on it's back with hopeless repetitions of the same lyrics and instrumentation. I can sense the immense potential these guys had on this record but I was still super disappointed that it didn't pay off..."  [+]  Reply

"Once you get past the main single "Loser" you get a great collection of bizzaro tunes. I must be alone here in feeling while each song isn't perfect, I'd still argue that there are no bad songs on it, which makes very interesting to listen to. It's sporadic, trippy, and original. There aren't man..."  [+]  Reply

"Talk Talk was once a tinny synth-pop band. The Beatles started out their recording career with the thin "Love Me Do". Radiohead began as a fairly run-of-the-mill alt-rock band. Then we got works like "Laughing Stock", "Revolver", and "OK Computer". Ween began their recording career with odd mixes..."  [+]  Reply
