"I can't rank Come on Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa separately, because that's not how I know them. I find that it doesn't sound like two separate works; there is a congruency between both, it's almost seamless. While most will speak of Where is My Mind (it is epic, after all), my favorite track is Cari..." [+] Reply
"This is TMBG at their smart and quirky best. Lincoln is more consistent than most of their albums though IMO "Don't Let's Start" is still their best song. If you want to try them out then this is the album. Their sound is not for everyone." Reply

"Having conquered synth pop with their two previous LPs, the duo decided dance music was next in their sites. Introspective is House music the whole family can dance along to. Their classic pop brilliance is still there, but it's lengthened out and doused in a healthy dose of acid-influenced synth..." [+] Reply

"A somewhat underrated gem. The first 3 songs are great Eye No Alphabet Street and Glam Slam. Alphabet Street is one of my favorites. Anna Stesia and Dance On keeps things moving before the ballad When 2 are in love which is lovely along with I Wish U Heaven and Positivity." Reply

"I was listening to Gregorian chants in the early 80s and somehow I missed out on Dead Can Dance in the late 80s. It's my loss. I find this album more engaging than Within the Realm of a Dying Sun. Lisa Gerrard proves here that she can be both ethereal and heavy. Brendan Perry's voice is good but ..." [+] Reply

"Pop like never done before. Total focus on being beautiful." Reply
"Rapping records in the late 80s came out, it seemed, on a near weekly basis that upped the game on the last. The lead single and title track on this, just like the first single on the debut, upped the game to such an extent that it just left all competition destroyed. Well, competition is none eh..." "The House of Love as well as The Cocteau Twins, Sonic Youth, and My Bloody Valentine fundamentally laid down the foundations for the shoegazer sound on this album. FACT. Something made all the more cruel considering how largely forgotten this album and the band currently are. From the sour downca..." [+] Reply

"A stop gap release between, appetite for destruction, and the, use your illusion, albums. It consists of the, like a suicide, e.p, a four track live recording featuring a cover of Aerosmith's, mama kin, Rose Tattoo's, nice boys, and originals, reckless life, and, move to the city. The album also ..." [+] Reply
