"Richard Hawley's finest album. Coles corner, is a beautifully romantic record full of lovely songs from one of Britain's best artists of the last 20 years. There are some sublime songs here in, just like the rain, the ocean, and, born under a bad sign. Hawley writes in a classic style, a kind of ..."  [+]  Reply

"Before the Dawn Heals Us is one big epic journey that blasts through your own mind. Although some tracks on the album don't fully match to the others, the album flows through a pattern of increasing and decreasing intensity. It truly is masterpiece that contains some M83's best work."  Reply

"Ryan Adams actually released THREE albums in 2005, two with The Cardinals and one solo album. My favorite of the three is Cold Roses, a double-CD showing off Ryan and the band doing their best Gram Parsons impression, with some pneumonia-era whiskeytown and faint hints of CSNY thrown in. This is ..."  [+]  Reply

"This is a nice album if you don't feel like diving headfirst into Madvillainy or DOOM's solo stuff. It's like a gateway drug I guess. Speaking of drugs, it's probably better on them. Not that I'd know."  Reply

"And The Glass Handed Kites is a record that works better as a complete album than as a collection of songs. This was recognized by the band, as they created seamless transitions from track to track. The transitions create a structure wherein the songs are movements within the larger framework of ..."  [+]  Reply

"My favourite Elbow albu. Combines the edgy alternative ethos from the first 2 albums with the more accomplished songwriting of the recent outings. Great expectations and my very best are particularly strong."  Reply
