"IMO, Robyn's songs are more affecting than someone like Lady Gaga because they feel more heart-felt and earnest, not an easy feat when consistently putting out great dance pop. If you remember her from the 90s, forget what you know -- her sound is IDM-influenced nowadays." Reply

"This is one album I just have to give a 10/10. It's in my top three of all time and is pure, unadulterated AC/DC in the middle of their prime. Lack of a hit single may turn off some people from caring for this album, but it grows on you until you realize just how damn perfect it is." Reply

"Fantastic album! A mixture of Punk, Jazz, & Soul. You wouldn't think that would work, but it seriously does." Reply

"If you take away 13 and Parklife, I see this as Blur's best album. Very weird, experimental, melancholy, pretty, and sometimes silly fun. Blur's swan song is truly special and people overlook it since Coxon's not in it. Also, Sweet Song is absolutely beautiful and should have more recognition in ..." [+] Reply

"Still getting my feet wet with jazz albums, so this is an inexperienced question, but why is this not as well regarded as Davis' other albums? You can definitely tell it served as a canvas for Kind of Blue and that's regarded as the best jazz album of all time." Reply

"If the 1970-1975 Genesis lineup would have remained intact and evolved, this is what they would have sounded like in 1983. Vocalist Fish is an original, however one cannot help but recall Peter Gabriel. Too bad 70s prog-rock did not sustain full momentum into the 1980s. This might have been one o..." [+] Reply

"Very quirky and playful. Polachek excitedly ruffles around in her toy box of production tricks. Those whistles, chirps and finger snaps gilding the beat of “Bunny is a Rider” dropping right into the flamenco strings of “Sunset”, then the echoing quartz crystal pops of “Crude Drawing of An Angel”,..." "This album could be described as folk. But the folk in it isn't the relaxed gentile songs that most people would associate with the genre. It has a pagan feel to it. It feels like it should be played in a dark ancient woodland around a fire by a band all more animal then human. The whole album is..." [+] Reply

"i remember the first time i heard this album. i purchased it at some commercial giant (best buy, i believe), went home, threw the disc into my portable sony walkman and paced around my parents' backyard. i was barefoot. the grass was green and slightly damp. the sun was up, and there wasn't a clo..." "I really like this album, sometimes I prefer British Steel and the main reason is consistency, while some tracks like Riding On The Wind, Electric Eye, You've Got Another Thing Comin are great and are top tier metal songs, there are some stinkers here (Fever, Pain & Pleasure, Take These Chains). ..."
