"Brilliant debut album. Great songs right through. Deserves more credit than it gets. Paul Di'Anno's vocals give a different rawness than what was to come when Bruce replaced him, but in no way is he a bad singer. Suited the songs and style very well. A great album." Reply

"One of the most haunting rock albums ever recorded. Absolutely different that the post punk scene was creating at that time. Experimental, beautiful and gives u a lot to think about. Makeshift Swahili must be one of the best rock songs ive ever heared." Reply

"At the age of 25, Simbi Akijawo aka Little Simz, has finally succeeded with the release of her third album, "GREY Area". Ten uppercut-shaped tracks with machine-gun flow and rumbling bass. These tracks are ALL exceptional. More direct and incisive than its previous albums, "GREY Area" combines mo..." [+] Reply

"No doubts: this album is one of the best of the late 1960's. It has a pack of great tracks ("Mr. Soul", "Bluebird", Rock and Roll Woman" and "Broken Arrow"), along with a immense variability of music stiles" Reply

"This is a stunning debut that has done nothing but grow in influence since its release. Its simple guitar-driven approach matched with Harriet Wheeler's distinctively sweet voice were a great rebuttal to the overproduced garbage of late 80's glam metal, rap and pop (the same could be said of musi..." "Autobahn suffers from 2112 syndrome; an amazing 20 minute epic on one side of the record, encompassing everything great the group had done up to that point, followed by a seemingly random assortment of good songs on the other side that pale in comparison to the first song/side, making for a puzzl..." "If you were to extrapolate what you'd expect an album like this to sound like given Tame Impala's trajectory from Innerspeaker -> Lonerism -> Currents, The Slow Rush is what you'd expect. For that reason I don't anticipate critics to really go crazy over this. It's not a huge departure from the s..." [+] Reply

"Everything about this band irritates me. That includes their faux "organic family greengrocers" name, the shameless plundering of Shakespeare quotes, Marcus Mumford's pathetic hangdog vocal delivery, the faux hand-me-down caps and waistcoats look, the use of the word "heart" in every other line, ..." "After recording the heavily produced, African American-influenced Doble Vida with Carlos Alomar, Gustavo Cerati decided he wanted a new direction for the band and so their next album would feature a stripped down, live quality to favor the songs over studio effects. With this release Soda Stereo ..." [+] Reply
