This is quite interesting. It is a full album cover of the Stone Roses 1989 debut, which is a great album if you haven;t heard it. This cover album is much more pop oriented than most of the Lips other stuff. That's probably to be expected though, as the Stone Roses were essentially pop music on rock instruments. However, this means that the source material is generally less complex than that of some of the other material the FLips have covered. This seems to result in less creative interpretations in general, as there are just less ideas presented to work with from the beginning. Still, its a decent listen. The highlight is probably I Wanna Be Adored, but maybe just because its an awesome song and the cover didn't really screw it up.
