Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Any fan of J Dilla needs to listen to this. Posthumous, but still very satisfying. It takes every obvious and classic Dilla motif and combines it with some incredible features. Some of my favorites including Danny Brown, MF DOOM, & Raekwon. I think of it as the Dilla record that nobody knows they need yet.
