So sad that he died before this was released. Such a beautiful album.

I was surprised to find out how good this album is, I'd only ever heard Heyday and presumed it was a one hit wonder. Nearly all the songs on here are really strong, and far from standard singer songwriter fair. Great melodies, impassioned performances, and tasteful production. An underrated gem.
