Very good band exceptional live
Adding all these dodgy live albums and cd 'maxi-singles' to a band's discography just makes middling acts seem far worse to me. I might have rated these guys a decent and reasonable 80/100 for the well produced and performed studio albums, not the best albums I've heard, but not representative of the death of all creativity in music either. Wading through all the s@!t that's been added here just makes me want to rate them down to 60/100.

What would you say ??! I say Dave Matthews Band sucks.
Dave's voice can become irritating, but Carter Beauford is a phenomenal drummer. He makes DMB worth listening to.
I've tried really hard to like the DMB, because they are clearly all excellent musicians but, although the occasional track does hit the spot, they just don't have the songs. The whole doesn't equal the sum of the parts, for me...
Great mix of sounds. Band has gotten even better with Tim Reynolds (guitar) joining pretty much full time. Use of world beats and blend of jazz, blues, and rock all give this band a great and unique sound. Not given enough credit for a lot of their music. Great Live show as well. To say it all sounds the same is not listening to the music.
I saw them as a fetus. They were okay.

Saw them live. It didn't change my life. A decent band with decent albums, but nothing mind-blowing.
See this band live, it may change your life, as in, you'll want to keep seeing them as much as you can!
Love his sound, his songs just start sounding so repetitive.
