A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Interesting, but it is always a problem to not look carefully at older music, and one comes away with the feeling that the reader has missed something. This is especially true without any notes to explain the choices, especially the complete lack of music between 1980 and 1993.

Love how darig this chart is! Don't know most of these records which is a big plus as there's a lot this chart can give, and judging by the cover arts and album titles I feel like theres a great personal theme going on whilst some kind of variation is maintained, somehow I don't mind so many modern picks. Notes would definitely make this perfect!

Love this chart, Polygondwanaland has become my favourite album so I love seeing it near the top of your chart. This chart also has 11 albums in common with my top 50 chart so I might take some recs from here. Good stuff!

Fanstastic chart of 2000s music! Agree on Polygondwanaland, it is a modern masterpiece in my eyes, even better than Nonagon Infinity and Flying Microtonal Banana which says a lot.
