A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Having Michael in your top 10 (twice), already is a win-win ;)
Then 5 of his albums, plus some other classics like Nirvana. Holy....
Besides maybe two, there's not one single bad/mediocre LP here.

I like some albums, but the list is very repetitive. I liked to see some albums from your own country, I'll look for some of that.
