Multiple charts from the same IP address? Boooo... Either way, this chart shouldn't be from just one year, and many of the albums included are pretty weak.
Same IP address as togetitlisted's chart http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=2179 and very similar choices.... ;) To keep the system fair, it is one chart per person.
Have yet to hear the new MGMT album but understand it is good better than there first. Beach house teen dream is good. What would you say the spoon album sounds like ? comes up a lot in best so far in 2010 . Made me look at albums that have been released this year so far will be down the shops this weekend cheers.
checked out the rest, still have to say keane was my favorite. thanks for the constructive and friendly conversation. i've just been dealing with someone else who apparently thinks my opinion should his, and was not very friendly back at him. it's so much nicer to talk to someone who treats you like a human being.
Personally, the title track of the Suburbs has been running through my head non-stop since monday, when the album came out. But honestly, the fact that you've taken the time to look it up validates the existence of this list, which I appreciate
Ok so I spent an admittedly little bit of time doing a sampler of your albums and got to #8. I really liked MGMT and Keane (despite the rap section). Born Ruffians may be worth a second listen as well. The National came at too late a point in the proceedings and I didn't really give it due patience, but it did remind me I'll have to find a spot for Crash Test Dummies' God Shuffled His Feet, which is one of a few I forgot about. Hot Hot Heat would have to do a lot of growing on me, and the others were ok but not hook-y enough for a commercial radio junkie such as me (at least at first blush.) I'll try to finish the tour tomorrow, along with stopping back at the ones I liked. If you have a special track on one you think I should try, let me know.
this is not a greatest hits list, if you notice I said "BEST ALBUMS OF 2010". I would include, at most, 2 of these albums in my top 50. however, I decided that I should share my views on incredibly recent music, since you have yet to hear them I encourage you to go and listen to them and see what you think.
i haven't heard any of these but the list looks suspiciously shit..
