Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Very indivisual chart with lot´s of albums to discover!
Very different from my chart but I like and respect your chart a lot.
A lot of surprisingly good picks: Loscil, Harold Budd, Oren Ambarchi, Lamb, Crime And The City Solution, Dead Can Dance...

To condense 1277 albums into 100 from just 4 years of the decade is a mighty achievement. Some good stuff, some ok stuff and some I have not yet heard.

886 albums.....Holy sheet! Id love to see how many you have by the end of the decade.
I really like the inclusions of The Drones (my fave so far this year/decade), Mutemath and Snowman in your top 10. I have Snowmans first album which is really good and I always thought it was a one album wonder. But apparently they have others ill have to check out :)
