Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Great chart 18 albums in common and yet our charts are so different, it just shows you how music is so diverse and yet so uniform.

I like your chart and know and like or love most of the albums you have here.
Here's a suggestion - Mogwai "Come On Die Young" - very ambient and predominantly instrumental.
Was surprised to see Bon Iver Bon Iver and not see For Emma - both are superb

I remember Murray Head, but not the song that you mentioned. I only remember One Night in Bangkok and I actually kind of like it. And I also remember him from the movie Sunday Bloody Sunday.
