Top 40 Greatest Music Albums

Whew! Selecting my "favorite ever" albums and limiting myself to only forty - what a task! But I did it. This list spans almost four decades of music and reflects my ever-evolving taste since the moment I first pressed the Play button on my Technics cassette recorder in the mid 80's. I limited this to one album per band, which of course is artificial and leaves lots of favorites out, but the benefit of the method is that it allowed me to add a more diverse set of music - and diverse my taste is :-) Enjoy, and I'd love to hear your feedback. Also: proud to have added two new bands and six new albums to BEA as part of this compilation! --Andrash
