"My favourite Oldfield album. Side 2 of Tubular Bells began with that jangly, Celtic sounding melody and this album is of course Celtic themed, including the Gaelic singing/chanting in the second half of side 1(though I believe there isn't a lot of meaning behind what's she's saying over and over!..."  [+]  Reply

"A record that is a tale of two sides with one being extremely mellow and delicate and the other being aggressive and loud. This contrast works brilliantly in my opinion and it makes both sides stand out more effectively. It benefits the second half a lot more with songs like Hero sounding far mor..."  [+]  Reply

"This is a far more digestible Frank Zappa release with a lot of the songs sounding closer to the music at the time than the classic and abstract sound he usually performs. That makes this the perfect album in my opinion to start listening to Zappa as you still get the nuances but they are a lot m..."  [+]  Reply

"Every redundancy and magniloquence is stripped away and it's only the purest VDGG sound that remains. The songs are harsh, even aggressive, but they are as evocative as their classics (and even more). The best track for me is "The Sleepwalkers", with a somehow 'catchy' organ riff, which is actual..."  [+]  Reply

"Released at the height of their popularity, one of these nights, is a good Eagles album. Featuring classic tunes in, lyin' eyes, take to the limit, and the title track, it also includes the oddball instrumental, journey of the sorcerer, which would eventually be the theme tune to the classic Brit..."  [+]  Reply

"I know I'm in the minority on this, but I think this is The Who's best album next to Quadrophenia. Highly underrated. Other commenters are correct - it does feel like a Townshend solo album, but Roger's vocals make it much more than just that."  Reply

"i love paul's storytelling ability. A lot of the tales he sings going back to his time in simon & garfunkel sound like they're happening down the block or on his way cross-town to the park. i guess this is his break-up album, but it doesn't sound like it. His higher-pitched vocals carry a breezy ..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is a beautiful piece of music. The soft and smooth instrumentation allow you to just drift through the songs and take in what you are hearing. The Artist really lets the music speak for itself and creates a serene atmosphere that makes you feel refreshed after listening to it. The imag..."  [+]  Reply
