"To me, Daisy is the best Brand New album. One may argue that it is because of my slight bias towards post-hardcore over emo, but after listening to Deja Entendu, TDAGARIM and Daisy many times I've come to the conclusion that this album is the best. Deja Entendu, to begin with, completely blew You..."  [+]  Reply

"It's a polished amalgam of PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Less jarring, better singing. This album has this orchestral lushness to it that I find extremely sedative."  Reply

"No line on the horizon, is U2 getting back to their more arty groove, it's a much more challenging record than most of their Other albums, and is all the better for it. The title track kicks off the LP, sounding nothing like they've ever sounded before. Magnificent, is more traditional U2, and is..."  [+]  Reply

"Thank you awesomness. The only reason I found this guy is because of your chart, which I only looked at because your avatar is one of my favorite albums. A diamond in the rough indeed, he should be a household name."  Reply

"A true favorite of mine. I think Mean Everything To Nothing is Andy Hull at his most consistent and overall powerful as a songwriter so far. I enjoy each of Manchester's albums, some more than others, but this is the most cohesive with the best individual tracks. The River, Shake It Out, I Can Fe..."  [+]  Reply

"I really didn't like this at first. The music was great but Antony's voice made me cringe. Well, this album grew on me more with each listen. Follow-up: I have now also listened to I Am a Bird Now. All I can say is WOW!"  Reply

"I think the basement jaxx invented the house/club/IDM album replete with guest appearances and made it work like nobody before them. On royksopp's melody a.m. debut, they were at the opposite end of the spectrum, self-styling a textured electro-ambient rich in ideas but with not much energy. In 2..."  [+]  Reply

"The arrangement of this album, musically and production-wise is masterful. This is THE penultimate break-up record, in my honest opinion. There's musical themes woven throughout, and the emotional journey of Matt's relationship and it's demise are made relatable amd easy to invest in as a listener."  Reply
