"A precursor of what was yet to come. This is a very good album and the presence of Neil Peart in the drum stool countered with his lyrical expertise hints to exciting times ahead. Anthem and By Tor set the scene for the classics which will follow"  Reply

"One of the best Marvin Gaye albums, full of smooth soulful vibes and Marvin's amazing vocals. The album flows from start to finish similar to Let's Get it On but less structured, a more relaxed sound. I Want You, After The Dance, Come Live With Me Angel & Feel All My Love Inside are the best trac..."  [+]  Reply

"Phases and Stages is Willie Nelson's masterpiece and his finest collection and presentation of original songs. Career Highlight: It's Not Supposed to Be That Way Gem: I Still Can't Believe That You're Gone"  Reply

"In Marley's discography this is likely his most undervalued studio release. Discussion of the work usually centers around the subject matter, which is at first reasonable, because the political lyrical content stands out in Marley's body of work. But in my opinion the record has a lot more to off..."  [+]  Reply

"This is one of those albums that most people wouldn't know what to do with. It's part broadway musical, part dr. demento -sounding parody, part discombobulated doo-wop-r&b-synth-arena-rock with a lot of interspersed narrative. It's a perverted mess. Sometimes i really like it. Sometimes it just t..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the more 'acoustic' sounding affairs which quite rightly befits the album title. More folky than the progressive leanings of Thicks As A Brick and Aqualung. A fine album. Baker St Muse is the standout track for me, this has a more 'progressive' feel to it."  Reply

"There is a version of this album that includes Street Boy and Can't Get Away. Which makes this as good as Cold Fact. Without them, it's still a marvel of musical ingenuity. Rodriguez is just one of a kind."  Reply

"Faust have done it again! Their second album is even more fun than their first. Jolly and chaotic, this album is just as pioneering as Faust's debut and conjured up another delightful world, whilst doing something different from their previous album. I enjoyed listening to this so much, a wild mi..."  [+]  Reply
