"You gotta love his raw vocal style in this album - even when the melody from "Sunlight Bathed The Golden Glow" is repeated another two times later in the album, it's a great melody (has the same syllables in a line and everything)."  Reply

"This album is part of my personal top 1000 you can check out on this site. Siouxie and the Banshees have issued a lot of great albums like "Ju Ju" and some live albums like "Nocturne" but I think this album is the best representation of how good this band was. For one reason or another I especial..."  [+]  Reply

"I am ashamed to say that I bought the deluxe version purely for the 5.1 version. It just demonstrates that I am desperate to purchase 5.1 knowing how boring and uninspiring the album will be. I loved the Ayreon albums from The Final Experiment to The Universal Migrator (inclusive). But since then..."  [+]  Reply

"Not my favorite release from Purity Ring, but a solid collection of songs and an upgrade in song production. This seems to be a combination of the sounds explored on the first two albums. I would love to hear them move into darker, more ominous-sounding territory to correlate with song titles. Fa..."  [+]  Reply

"I can’t say that I have a close relationship with "Editors". The only thing I noticed a while back was that the band sounded like some sort of Joy Division "light" to me. It was only a feeling and possibly not justified, but I still felt that there was a relationship between the voice of Ian Curt..."  [+]  Reply

"I had fun with this album but it's a little inconsistent. Hearing all of the different influences and how Halsey was able to fuse those sounds with her deeply personal lyrics was very cool. The marketing worked for me, though maybe not for everyone else. I will say, there are some songs that don'..."  [+]  Reply
