Demon days or not, this album gives off feel good vibes. Cool, groovy and to me quite summery despite the fact that one song's titled "November Has Come".

Not exactly a band you'd normally associate with something as dangerous as an alligator. However, the strong songwriting alone is enough to make this a beast of an album! Mostly their usual subdued melancholic rock, perhaps very slightly more energetic than the following albums.

Don't believe the truth, instead keep the dream alive! That's what Oasis did with this album, a mellower and dreamier round for Oasis. "Mucky Fingers" is a folk rock-influenced "I'm Waiting for the Man"-type song, a true gem.

Essentially the skeleton of indie rock right before Figurines glossed up on "When the Deer Wore Blue". Debut "Shake a Mountain" was raw and energetic, but this somehow seems even edgier and more furious with some of the fastest songs in the band's catalog. On the other hand, you find new, more comforting folk sounds such as the banjo and piano. Figurines have progressed!
