I've always wanted to do this and it was much harder than I thought. I tried to balance the greatness of the entire album (not a select few tracks), historical significance as well as which album I love more. A lot of back and forth and a great excuse to listen to all these albums back to back to back! Enjoy!

I'll never forget the first time I listened to I am the Walrus. I had just gotten into the Beatles and they were quickly becoming my favorite band. Each song was amazing (god I want to say perfect!) but it did not prepare me for the first time I put on MMT. I get all geared up with the title track, feel pretty good after Flying and flabbergasted by Blue Jay Way but I was not prepared for the impact Walrus would have on me. As the strings descend, the drums remind me this is a rock song. Then John comes in sounding angry and the lyrics are a riddle but the journey the song took me on has lead me to all the other music you find on this list. The first song I realized there could be more than just some verses and a few chorus' with maybe a bridge thrown in. And that's just side one!
