I've always wanted to do this and it was much harder than I thought. I tried to balance the greatness of the entire album (not a select few tracks), historical significance as well as which album I love more. A lot of back and forth and a great excuse to listen to all these albums back to back to back! Enjoy!

The majority of this album is essential rock music listening. We witness Zeppelin pushing their own sounds into places they never gone before. John Paul Jones really stands out as he not only owns the bass, but plays organ, mellotron, recorders, acoustic guitar and a mandolin that steals the show during Going to California.

Zeppelin finally gave me an album that isn't just filled with fantastic rock riffs. Songs that have passion and filled with non rock instruments (more moog!) and an album that remains catchy, accessible, relevant and filled with music to make you feel good while you're tapping your foot.
