Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Congrats, this chart is very good in any sense, quality, diversity and interesting to explore. With some comments, probably I would give it +90.
Are you sure to prefer Ghost Reveries instead of Blackwater Park? Hahaha

I've vaguely heard of the Dissociatives. I've never heard anything by them though, I just remember people saying when Young Modern came out that it sounded as much like the Dissociatives as silverchair. I never bothered to listen to them because that was my least favorite silverchair album.
