"Ground breaking, time defining music. Not only did it help launch the "Bristol scene" (Portishead, Tricky, etc) but it actually shaped it. If you are interested in the history of music, you should definitely own a copy of this album."  Reply

"This is slightly different to their debut but there is still loads to love on this record and it is an under rated follow up. It is very tough to follow an album as good as Ten is and you can see they struggled a little to figure out which way they wanted to take the music. Once the record gets s..."  [+]  Reply

"In my book, one of the most underappreciated albums ever recorded. The minimalist, chromatic piano arrangements are a perfect match Apple's ferocious vocals. Lyrically, very personal and vivid. Songs like "Werewolf" and "Valentine" are subtle melodies with lyrics that gets under your skin, while ..."  [+]  Reply

"I thought The Clash made their cover like that to book end the era of Rock n' Roll, srating with Elvis playing his guitar and ending with Paul Simonon smashing his."  Reply

"This album gets unfairly labeled as a two/three hit wonder. First off, two of those three songs individually are greater than some artists entire discographies. Secondly, there are some majorly overlooked tracks on this album. B Real is on fire on Xplosion. Gasoline Dreams is one of Outkast's har..."  [+]  Reply

"Maybe "Sea Change" connected with me at the perfect time or not, but this is one of the best albums about loss, helplessness, and trying to move on, but being not truly able to move forward yet. Over years of weekly listening, I've found that once you move past Beck's own story about the creation..."  [+]  Reply

"Yeah this album was inescapable sometime around '06-'07, and it's not hard to see why. In a time when so many bands were taking the previously more direct routes of emotive popish-y-punk songs, this album was so self-consciously grandstanding and BOMBASTIC (do you want me to repeat that last word..."  [+]  Reply

"While I really enjoy Remain in Light, this is by far my favourite Talking Heads album I’ve heard so far and has spurred me on to explore the parts of their discography that I have yet to delve into. The opener is amazing, actually the first three tracks are amazing, all very listenable. The rest ..."  [+]  Reply
