In 1980 I was still in secondary school. I was the prick who thought anything I didn't listen to was just uncool. I was an avid reader of the NME and treated it almost as a bible. I bought so much crap because of their propaganda. Not all of their advice was bad, though. This chart contains many bands I discovered in the pages of NME.

Lo-fi recordings of early Fall live concerts around England. Mark E Smith anounces last orders and puts in a great performance. I don't usually like live albums, but this is a good one.
