Another ever-changing list inbound.
It bothers me when people say lyrics don’t matter or that they don’t really pay attention to them. Great words that match a song’s aura can take an already great piece of music to an entirely different stratosphere of power and resonance. This list is to document my favorite examples of that.
Please send some recommendations my way based off of the contents of this chart. (Still not sure to include hip hop records here or to make a chart solely focused on that)
