Grace is my favorite album that I have ever listened to. Every song fits together well, it doesn't have an actual story arc, but it has a rise and fall that is beautiful itself in the way that it is a "musical arc". Jeff Buckley's lyrics are breathe taking, his voice is "haunting" as put by myself and many others. The music and atmosphere of emotion in this album is the best I have heard. The instrumentation on Grace is smooth, abstract, and keeps things flowing and never ceases to amaze. Favorite Songs: [Basically all]. [First added to this chart: 12/11/2012]

This needs explaining, doesn't it? Alright, well Doolittle is just phenomenal. There are arguably some flaws in Doolittle, mine in particular being just one song (Silver...). The shortness of each song doesn't subtract from the greatness of the album. In fact, I think it keeps things from going stale. This album is incredibly innovative. Well, I mean for the 90s at least, which inspired Nirvana as well as many others. The vocals on the album are great. I love how Black Francis' tone can sound so shrill; then at another moment, calm. Favorite songs: Mr. Grieves, Debaser, Hey, There Goes My Gun. [First added to this chart: 12/11/2012]

My favorite album done by The Beatles. I like every song on here except for a few exceptions which I was never really fond of. "Flying" and "Blue Jay Way" arguably paved the way for psycadelic music. Eveything from the beginning of the album until the end can be considered a classic. Favorite Songs: All You Need Is Love, Strawberry Fields, Blue Jay Way [First added to this chart: 12/11/2012]

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 85.0/100, a mean average of 84.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.4/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 7.9.

I really like you chart man. It might not be my favorite Beatle's album, but Magical Mystery Tour, is brilliant, and often it doesnt get the praise it should usually get.
I see a Coldplay fan! that's awesome, people around here just hate them too much
