Most of my favorite albums are between the 90's and 2000's, and if you take a look at my "Top 100 Greatest Music Albums" you will notice that. This chart is based on my personal taste and is totally subjective, therefore, I do not intend to say that these are the best albums of this decade, it is simply a list of my favorite albums and the ones I have listened to the most.
Only rule: maximum two albums per artist.

No matter how many times I listen to this album, it will always be my number 1.
I grew up listening to all those great rock bands (AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc.) so when I was about 17 years old, I got tired of listening to all those guitar solos, complex music and full of virtuosity. I was just looking for something simple enough yet elegant at the same time, just to put on my headphones, close my eyes, and get away from everyone.
So, i searched for a long time and couldn't find an album or at least a song that met my expectations... until I heard "Somewhere Only We Know" and OMG!!!!! I couldn't believe it, it was the perfect song, just what I'd been looking for.
IT TOTALLY CHANGED MY LIFE... And then I started pooling my savings to buy a piano, and I learned every damn song on this album. I love playing "Everybody's Changing", "Bend & Break", "This Is The Last Time" and "Bedshaped" on my piano. "She Has No Time" always makes me cry, "Can't Stop Now" is great and overall, I love all the songs on this album... but "Somewhere Only We Know" has a special place in my heart. It is the song I have heard the most times in my life and I still love it as much as the first time I heard it. It's by far my favorite song of all.

CAMBIÓ MI VIDA TOTALMENTE... y entonces comencé a juntar mis ahorros para comprar un piano, me aprendí cada maldita canción de este álbum... amo tocar "Everybody's Changing", "Bend & Break", "This Is The Last Time" y "Bedshaped" en mi piano. In general, I give more importance to the instrumental part than to the lyrics of the songs... And this album has too many arrangements, so many things playing at the same time that I just love it... Every time I hear it I discover something new. I don't want to cause a misunderstanding, the lyrics of the songs are very good, but instrumentally it's on another level, just sublime.
Every song is perfect and I really love every single one of them... "Rebellion (Lies)", "Wake Up", "Une Annee Sans Lumiere" "Neighborhood #2, #3 and #4 are really amazing, but "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)" is for me the best and also one of my favorite songs of my entire life.

"In Rainbows" is perfect from start to finish... It's the kind of album I listen to during the night, while I'm locked in my room contemplating solitude. I swear I don't have depression, or at least I think so, lol
Anyway, I'm really a big fan of Tom York's falsetto, but what I like most about this album are the arrangements with stringed instruments, the use of piano and ondes Martenot.
My favorite songs from the album are: "15 Step"
"Nude"
"Weird Fishes/Arpeggi"
"All I Need"
"Reckoner"
and the best of all for me "Jigsaw Falling Into Place"

Coldplay es una máquina de hacer hits, y este álbum es una muestra de ello, repleto de baladas melancólicas apoyadas principalmente en el piano y guitarra, con un Chris Martin cantado para sí mismo, en un intento desesperado de superar sus malos ratos.
"Politik" y "In My Place" son asombrosas, amo tocar "Clocks" y "The Scientist" en mi piano, "Green Eyes" es una hermosa canción y muy infravalorada, "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" y "Amsterdam" son un excelente final para el álbum.

Coldplay is a hit machine, and this album is proof of that, full of melancholic ballads supported mainly by piano and guitar, with Chris Martin singing to himself, in a desperate attempt to overcome his bad times.

This album is full of energy, the way the 2 guitars complement each other, the strength and impetus of Matt Helders on drums, as well as the voice of Alex Turner, make "Whatever people say i am that's what i'm not" an emblem of Indie rock. Their "Garage Rock" sound makes me feel younger.
All the songs here are awesome but just to highlight a few; "A Certain Romance", "Mardy Boom" and "When the Sun Goes Down".

Uno de los álbumes que me abrió las puertas del "Garage Rock". Solía tocar Last nite en mi banda de rock, y pasabamos buenos ratos jajaja le tengo mucho cariño a este álbum.
Me gustan todas las canciones pero "Someday", "Hard to Explain" and "Last Nite" están en lo más alto.
