"Not a bad track here - not even a mediocre one. If I had to pick, Riot would be the weakest, and I give that 85/100. High praise? Yes, but wait... their second album is even better."  Reply

Moreover the theme in "Preservation" came out much unresolved, and the plot and characters did not come out clearly un..."  [+]  Reply

"With their first 2 records, CHVRCHES proved to me that they were a relatively fresh take on 80s synthpop aesthetic. Songs like 'Gun', 'We Sink', and 'Never Ending Circles' are witty, intricate, and pretty, mostly due to the band's clever production techniques and Lauren's poignant vocals. Very li..."  [+]  Reply

"A very strong album, and return to form, it has to be their best since the Real New Fall LP. Bury and Weather Report are the pick of the bunch but there are plenty of other contenders. The phrase Your Future Our Clutter sums up the X-Factor brigade very nicely indeed"  Reply
