"The walkman ate up the cassette of your acoustic performance at open mic and now the old recording of your high school marching band that you taped over is leaking through."  Reply

"I may be the only person to rank this album #1 but without Robert Johnson & a handful of other Mississippi delta blues singers there wouldn't be any rock and roll. I've been listening to this album for most of my life and I still find new and wonderous things every time I listen to it."  Reply

"Queen's most mainstream sounding album since their start is this one. Not a bad thing. Diverse album too, which includes slow piano ballads like All Dead All Dead and My Melancholy Blues, rock songs like It's Late, We Will Rock You, Sheer Heart Attack, among others, and an interesting psychedelic..."  [+]  Reply

"Having Coltrane's name is for sure a heavy burden, but if you approach this album with reasonable expectations, it will most likely surpass them. The most obvious reason I can think of is it's eastern influences, but this was far more enjoyable than most jazz I've encountered (admittedly it hasn'..."  [+]  Reply

"Bryan Ferry and Brian Eno make this album one of the most brilliant that I've ever heard. You generally don't see this one in best album charts, and that's a shame. Here we have some of the most important songs in Roxy Music's history. There is some great work here with sythesizers and sound clip..."  [+]  Reply

"I remember seeing or reading about this album on this site years ago, back when I used to frequent this site, and whoever recommended it, major thanks! It's a fantastic overlooked gem from the 60's. The songs are weird and psychedelic but they are also melodic and catchy. This stuff is right up m..."  [+]  Reply

"I love the emotion behind the album... it has a cold feeling that matches the album cover perfectly. Have to be in the mood for it, but when I am, this is one of my favorites"  Reply
