Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. It's a good start, I know you said the albums are mainly from the 90's on, but that takes nothing away from this chart, there are some really great choices in there. I do hope you try delve deeper into past decades over time and discover more albums you enjoy (Trust me, it's worth it). Anyway, really cool chart!

This is an amazing chart,just Fever Ray and The Knife are incredibly original top 10 choices.
