A lot of personality shines through here and there, enjoying The Feelies at the moment.
Funny that you say you only add "pop" music, since I do the same, but I consider jazz as non-"pop" as well; to me there was clear distinction and major gap made with rock 'n' roll -"major" as in "important" not so much "big", since of course rock 'n' roll had one leg in jazz for at least two decades - similar to the gap between classical and jazz in the early 20th century in the sense that there was a clear disdain coming from the more traditional side. Anyway, not sure what I want to achieve with this... just like to philosophize about the way music evolves.

My favourite Nusrat album is probably Shahen Shah or Shahbaaz. The others I mentioned are great too.
Also, I second all of doubleA's recommendations (apart from Entain, which I haven't heard), especially Quique.
Btw what's your opinion of each disc of The Velvet Underground Super Deluxe Edition?
