Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 83.4/100, a mean average of 82.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.6/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 11.6.

Interesting list.
Some good picks besides the classics like The Beau Brummels, Fleetwood Mac Bare Trees, Vanilla Fudge.
For me too much in the past.
Really cool chart and nice to see some Jeff Beck. I see a lot of charts with Rubber Soul but not an awfull lot that place it on top. So that's interesting to see.
Almost Identical top 12. Then our tastes start to drift apart, but I will definitely have to check out a few of the albums on this chart I have not yet listened to.
Your 60s and 70s selections are first-rate. Unfortunately, I find this chart a little one-dimensional. Are there any modern acts that get you going? How about different genres?
Awesome chart. And you got Fifth Dimension by the Byrds on here? You're golden
What a great chart!
Like this, nice selection of classics, a good smattering of grunge and a few obscurities that I'll try to get round to listening to. Have you heard Brothers by The Black Keys? With your apparent love of blues rock I think you'll like it.
Great list :)
