Top 100 Greatest Music Albums
by 21stCSchizoidMan
I would have included the album Casiopea by Casiopea, Death Letter by Son House Adiós Nonino by Piazzolla, Bimbo Satellite by Chris Joss (listen to Tune Down although is not from that album) and also El Paso Del Tigre by Hernán Oliva but they weren´t in the archives. You shuold also check out the 24 Capriches by Paganini, the 5th and 9th symphony by Beethoven and the 5th symphony by Tchaikovsky.
If you find any grammar mistake (which you will surely find), leave a comment and i will correct it.

This is the album that made me start to hear good rock music again. Great story telling mixed with astonishing instrumentation and probably the best guitar solo of all time (of course... in my opinion).

Frank Zappa is probably the 20th century most important musician. With this album he changed completely his previous Motherly sound (for good) and created this masterpiece that combines rock with jazz and classical music. You could make a top 10 list of the best guitar solos ever made and at least four of those solos would be from Zappa and two from this album (Willie the Pimp and Son of Mr Green Genes)

A band containing great musicians but that somehow isn't so known as it should be. With Maynard's philosophical and mathematical lyrics, Danny Carey´s brilliant drumming (this album is one of the most important in all history regarding this), Chancellor's hypnotic bass playing and Jones's unconventional guitar playing... you are assured an unforgetable ride.

The best Zeppelin ambum to get started with. The very first song probably resumes all Led Zeppelin: Bonham´s incredible drumming with his ferociously fast bass druming, Plant's vocal intensity and sexuality, the addictive mini bass solos of John Paul Jones and Page´s guitar screaming for help as he picks those sharp notes.

For a long time i didn't really get this album. When i started listening Zeppelin almost 3 hours per day i discovered the whole beauty of it: the mystic lyrics, Jones multi instrumentality, Pages ability to compose beautiful ballads and Bonham´s versatility on the drums.

What can i say? Nothing beats Jim Morrison's lyrics and voice. Krieger´s guitar playing and keyboardist Manzarek defines psychedelia with the help of a jazzy druming contributed by densmore.

The iconic Pink Floyd's album deserves its title. This concept album contains two of the best guitar solo's ever made, lyrics allusioning capitalism, sanity, time and many other subjects, an astounding vocal solo, some of the best drumming from Mason, the classic bass riff of Money and elegant suspending Richard Wright keyboard playing.

Rush's peak refering to their ability to make a great and balanced album is portrayed in this album. You may have to give your ears time to acclimatize to Geddy Lee's vocals, but don't worry if you don't he will compensate with his unmatched bass playing, Neil Peart will contribute with his glorious drums and Lifeson with some awesome riffs and solos.

Another stupendous album with a strong first track that makes you want to destroy everything around you (in the good sense). Is incredible how they could record two of the most important albums in history in one year.

If you want to hear most of the classic Who's tracks don´t look any further. The songs in these album deserve to be called classics, they aren't like most modern shitty classics with almost no significant musical contributions, these songs actually are a good (of course any contribution from any band is good as long as it is correctly applied, i leave the definition of "correct" to youself)influence to any musician to be and to any prodigy.
