Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 10% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 87.9/100, a mean average of 88.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.7/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 7.6.

I still freaking hate Yeezus, but your chart has grown better, since I last saw 2 years ago - at least in my opinion

This shit is interesting. Love to see some love for Outkast’s older works, proves you really are into hip hop.

Really great chart - LOVE your hip hop picks especially. I do feel though, although you represent some more of the modern indie classics really well there's a little neglect of pre-90s stuff (not that I'm an old hat by any means), I just think that maybe with three of the four best albums of the 60, 70s and 80s combined being by Talking Heads alone you might be missing out on some stuff? Here are a few of my older faves you might enjoy:

Joy Division - Closer (1980)
Television - Marquee Moon (1977)
Nico - Chelsea Girl (1967)
Neil Young - Harvest (1972)
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground (1969)
