While Gaga had already had her break-through and was already a queer icon, this was the record that firmly cemented her status as gay icon. The 'LGBT' stands for 'Lady Gaga Beyoncé - Telephone' for a reason.

Twigs loves her gays of course, but 'M3LLI55X' specifically makes me want to contort my body whilst having a cold shower, pretending I'm in the music video for 'In Time'. Straight music does not make you want to do this.

'Blonde' speaks to so many people in so many different ways, but it's always felt particularly bisexual to my bisexual ass and has been there through every breakup I've been through. Ocean speaks in a way I needed to hear in 2016 and still need today.

I think OOEPUI speaks for itself frankly. Not only as the defining trans soundtrack of the millennium but also an encapsulation of the queer experience. The joy, the terror, the life it breathes into your every waking experience. 'Immaterial' makes me want to cry.
