"System of a Down is my favorite band. This album, their last before hiatus, is the 2nd part to the Hypnotize/Mezmerize 2-CD set. A little faster-paced than Mezmerize, it has some amazing tracks, and the more you listen to it, the deeper it becomes."  Reply

"Possibly one of the most under-rated LPs of the last 10 years. Just as Broadcast found their sound - halfway between the Young Marble Giants and Nico - poor Trish died of pnemonia... a terrible, terrible loss. Tender Buttons will serve as their epitaph, but what a fitting, beautiful and mesmerisi..."  [+]  Reply

"Spoon's always funky. You wouldn't know it by the lead single "the beast and dragon, adored" from "gimme fiction", their most complex song to-date. Spoon's into the funky, catchy, short single format -- leave 'em wanting more routine. While "beast" is a good song, it's not as representative of th..."  [+]  Reply

"My favorite Broken Social Scene album and the newest found addition to my top 10 albums. The sonic disorder is soothing, the album is the embodiment of the perfectly designed roller coaster with that steep climb to the first highest peak followed by an amazing ride with a couple of twists, turns,..."  [+]  Reply

"I've always been surprised by the low rank of this album since I consider it to be her second best. Then I realized it's because I've been listening to bootleg version of this album all along! *MIND BLOWN* Extraordinary Machine has two versions - the bootleg Jon Brion version and the official Mik..."  [+]  Reply

"Definitely Madonna's greatest album of the 2000's - very soulful, deep, charming.....'Sorry' is my favorite song here but I think 'Push' should've been released as a single. This one differs from other tracks on this album and could have been a hit"  Reply

"Because of the little instrumental tracks/vignettes this is not an album that is easy to rate solely on tracks alone but as a whole is second only to Electro Shock Blues in the Eels studio catalogue. It may take a couple of listens to really grow on you so don't give up on it!"  Reply

"A slight step above the previous two albums - it's certainly a great album, and probably above average compared to DT's other work. The album leans more on the soft side than the heavy side, but that's fine with me. Each track brings something interesting to the table, and I don't feel like any t..."  [+]  Reply

"It's pretty rare album art draws me in this deep. I just did a very cursory review of some of my collection, and none of the art hits me like this one. Dare I say, side by side, it makes a lot of album art look like just something that everyone sends with an album because they have to. I like the..."  [+]  Reply
