"In April 1966 The Troggs suddenly "From Nowhere" appeared on the beat-scene. "Wild Thing" written by Chip Taylor was an instant world-wide hit. Actually the single was really their second; their first "Lost Girl" which is also included here, was a minor hit in Holland, but failed to chart in Engl..."  [+]  Reply

"I do not agree with everything said on this album but there is no denying it is a passionate example of a particular movement at a particular moment in time. It is raw and hits hard it is unapologetic and completely not politically correct but this album is essential and should be played in histo..."  [+]  Reply

"This album reminds me of Sunbather by Deafheaven... Dark metal mixed with many other genres. Favorite tracks: Into The North Woods, Pale Ghosts Less favorite tracks: A Superior Lament, The Wind's Farewell"  Reply

"Warning: This album is really fucking loud, That being said, this is like the dark side of Loveless. It's a fantastic album worth listening too. It may lack the soundscapes that Loveless has to offer, but what it doesn't have it makes up for in just pure sound and catchy melodies."  Reply

"If you like singer-songwriters and just really good poetic songwriting you'll love this album. There are very few weak tracks here and the highlights are incredible. "Kathleen", "Baby That's not All", "Bright Smile" are incredible. It's an 8.6/10 for me."  Reply
