Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. J'apprécie l'audace de placer In Evening Air de Future Islands au 1er rang d'une liste globale. Album d'un excellent groupe qui se démarque grandement de la majorité des bands de rock alternatif des 2000s et +.
En général, très bonnes listes mixant d'excellents classiques et de sorties contemporaines rafraîchissantes, notamment Burst Apart, Smother High Violet, Tomorrow's Harvest et There Is Love In You.

Même s'il y a quelques albums présents dans ta liste avec lesquelles je possède moins d'affinité, je trouve que tu as créé une très bonne "chart" et je compte bien écouter quelques albums que je ne connaissais pas et qui ont, par conséquent, piquer ma curiosité, dont Burst Apart pour n'en citer qu'un
